THE RACE

The shortest distance of the event, but it will still let you experience running at altitude with the imposing Aconcagua as your companion.

Starting at the Horcones Parking Area, the gateway to Aconcagua, and finishing at Plaza de Penitentes, this point-to-point race is ideal for runners who are new to trail running and are looking to add difficulty before moving on to longer distances. It has no major technical difficulty, but the altitude will put your body to the test.

Argentine Runners: Prices expressed in Argentine Pesos. Payment methods in Argentina: electronic payment methods only, enabled through the Mercado Pago platform. Bank transfers or cash payments at the office are not available. A 5.7% service fee will be added to the registration cost for the use of the payment platform.

Mendoza Resident Discount*
Receive a 30% discount on the current registration fee. Please send an email to info@aconcaguaultratrail.com before registering.
Valid until October 31, 2026.
This discount cannot be applied after registration has been completed.

RUNNING TEAMS Discount*

If you are the coordinator of a Running Team – minimum of 10 members – contact us at info@aconcaguaultratrail.com to request the requirements and Running Team registration process, and to obtain the Discount Codes to be used during registration.

  • Running Teams: 15% discount.

  • Running Teams from Mendoza: 25% discount.

(!) Participants must request the code from their coach BEFORE completing the registration form.

This discount cannot be applied after registration has been completed.

I’M ALREADY REGISTERED — DO I HAVE TO PAY ANYTHING ELSE?

Remember that your race entry does not include the Aconcagua Provincial Park entrance fee, which must be paid separately.

Argentine runners: the park fee will automatically be added as an extra payment, including the payment platform fee.

International runners: the park fee is paid in cash during accreditation, in the currency required by the Aconcagua Provincial Park.

CAN I CHANGE MY DISTANCE?

Yes, you can change distances as long as there are available spots and your registration is fully paid.

  • If switching to a shorter distance, the price difference is not refunded.
  • If switching to a longer distance, the runner must pay the fee difference.

How do I request a distance change?

All distance changes must be requested exclusively by email at info@aconcaguaultratrail.com

CAN MY FAMILY / FRIENDS COME WATCH THE RACE?

Yes, absolutely. Just keep in mind that if the start line is in Horcones (inside the Aconcagua Provincial Park), they must pay the day-pass to enter the start area. The day-pass is purchased directly at Horcones, at the entrance to the Aconcagua Provincial Park.

Otherwise, they can see you from other points along the course outside the park. Check your course map here.
